Celina Landry, 70, of Shediac and formerly of Saint-Philippe, passed away on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 at her residence.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Levi and the late Dora (née: Gallant) Bastarache.
Mrs. Landry had worked at Villa du Repos as an RNA and in her later years provided home care for her mother and uncle. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards and marbles. She was a former member of Saint-Philippe parish.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Albert; one daughter, Patricia (Paul) Jaillet of Irishtown; one granddaughter, Samantha (Kyle); one great grandson, Zachary; one sister, Marie Desroches of Moncton; one brother, Fred (Obeline) of Saint-Philippe, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one granddaughter, Jessica Lynn and also by one brother.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Thursday, October 24th, 2019 from 7 to 9 pm only.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 25th, 2019 at 10:30 am, reception at the Club d’Age d’Or in Saint-Philippe will follow.
Interment in Saint-Philippe Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be graciously accepted.
À sa résidence, le jeudi 18 octobre 2019, à l’âge de 70 ans, est décédée Celina Landry. Elle demeurait à Shédiac et autrefois de Saint-Philippe au Nouveau-Brunswick.
Née à Moncton, N.-B., elle était fille de feu Levi et de feu Dora (née Gallant) Bastarache.
Elle était autrefois membre de la paroisse Saint-Philippe.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux de 53 ans, Albert; une fille, Patricia (Paul) Jaillet d’Irishtown; une petite-fille, Samantha (Kyle); un arrière-petit-fils, Zachary; une soeur, Marie Desroches de Moncton; un frère, Fred (Obeline) de Saint-Philippe, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Une petite-fille, Jessica Lynn ainsi qu’un frère, l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901), le jeudi 24 octobre 2019 de 19h à 21h seulement.
Une célébration de la Parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le vendredi 25 octobre 2019, à 10h30, suivi par une réception au Club d’Age d’Or de Saint-Philippe.
L’inhumation au cimetière paroissial Saint-Philippe.
Aux lieu des fleurs, un don à la famille serait accepté.
