Shediac River, NB – We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Christine Poirier, 46, on January 19, 2020. Born in Toronto, she was the daughter of the late Albert Poirier and the late Evelyn Poirier (born Melanson).
Christine worked as an educational assistant at Northrop Frye School in Moncton. She previously worked at Shediac Cape School for many years as well as other schools in the Moncton area.
Christine will be dearly missed by her children, Megan Freeman (Cory Brun) of Moncton, Jacob Freeman and Sarah Comeau; one grandson, Mason Brun; her sister, Francine Poirier Cox (Robert) of Toronto; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father Albert (July 2, 2019) and her mother Evelyn (February 16, 2019).
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020, from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue on Friday, January 24th, 2020 at 11am.
In memory of Christine, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lunchbox Grandpa or to a charity of your choice.
