Clément J. Léger, 94, of Manoir Notre-Dame, formerly of Derby Street, Moncton, passed away on Saturday, January 6th, 2007, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in La Hétrière, he was the son of the late Pierre O. and the late Eugénie (née: Bourque) Léger.
He had retired from the NB Liquor Corporation.
He is survived by his two children: Charline (Gilles) Lalonde of Rigaud, QC and Pierre of Moncton; one brother, Camille (Cécile) Léger of St. Anselme; 4 grandchildren: Rebecca, Véronique, David and Esther; nine great grandchildren as well as by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Hélène in 1988; four sisters: Bella, Hermance, Laudia and Alida and also by five brothers: Arthur, Edgar, André, Ferdinand and Gérard.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Monday, January 8th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 9 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 at 10 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
