Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Fred and Olive Hinsdale (nee Vanluben) of Moncton, NB.

Besides his parents, David is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Campbell of Moncton, by his one step-daughter; by his seven stepsons; by his four sisters, Rose Jebowski, Shirley Carroll (Doug), Joanne Hardy (Tom) all of Ontario and Patty Arsenault (Paul) of Moncton; by his two brothers, Calvin (Linda) of Ontario and Jimmy (Mary) of Moncton; by his aunt, Louise Hinsdale of St. Stephen, NB; by his two step grandsons; also survived by his niece and one nephew.

David was predeceased by his infant brother, Paul.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, NB, on Tuesday, December 4th, 2018 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm and on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. A celebration of life for David will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, Moncton, NB, on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 at 2:00pm
