Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB – Demerise Johnson, 69, passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent hospital on Thursday, November 15, 2018.
Born in Tracadie, NB, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and the late Exelda (Basque) Benoit.
Demerise will be sadly missed by her four sons from her late’s first husband, Aurèle LeBlanc, Johnny (Helena), Roger (Cécile), Edgar (Diane) and Stephen (Jessica); four sisters, Dorina (Joseph), Lucianna (late Albéni), Mélodia (late Joyeux) and Elizabeth (Edmond); ten grandchildren, Mathieu, Jonathan, Joline, Zacarie, Simon, Samantha, Pierre, Robert, Julie and Julien; and her second husband, Lionel.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Bernadette (late John) Drysdale; her three brothers, Vincent, Aurèle and Alvin.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent RC Church slumber room in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 9:30 until time of funeral service. Funeral service will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent RC Church at 11am.
