Cocagne, NB – Dismas Goguen, 80, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Monday, January 30, 2017, after a brief illness.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Thomas and Émilie (Williams) Goguen.
Dismas will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Raymonde; his three daughters, Suzanne Bourque (Jean) of Memramcook, Ginette Goguen-Lirette (Ronald) of Notre-Dame and Carolle Goguen of Cocagne; his son, Jacques (Mélanie) of Cocagne; his brother, Elphège Goguen (Florence) of Cocagne; his sister, Élise LeBlanc (late Edgar) of Notre-Dame; his three grandchildren, Christopher Goguen, Amélie Bourque and Jacob Goguen; also by several nephews and nieces.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Edgar and Raymond.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 2 pm until time of funeral service at Passage Funeral Chapel at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
