Domitilde "Thilda" Melanson, 91, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, passed away on Thursday, May 30th, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Memramcook-East, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Béatrice (née: Bourque) Melanson.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Ovila Melanson; her children: Michel, Yves (Jeanne), Lyne (Randy) and Lisa (Robert) Gallant; her granddaughter, Véronique; her sisters and brothers: Ella Dupuis, Agathe Davis, Elizabeth Green, Gerald, Dollard (Rita) and Laurie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents; she was predeceased by her sisters and brothers: Jeannine Robichaud, Dorina Boudreau, Lionel, Aurèle and Fred.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Monday from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm only.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Tuesday, June 4th, 2019 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint-Anselme parish cemetery, Dieppe.

Au centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le jeudi 30 mai 2019, à l’âge de 91 ans, est décédée Domitilde « Thilda » Melanson. Elle demeurait à l’Auberge du Soleil à Dieppe au Nouveau-Brunswick.
Née à Memramcook-Est, N.-B., elle était fille de feu John et de feu Béatrice (née Bourque) Melanson.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux bien-aimé de 61 ans, Ovila Melanson; ses enfants: Michel, Yves (Jeanne), Lyne (Randy) et Lisa (Robert) Gallant; sa petite-fille, Véronique; ses sœurs et frères: Ella Dupuis, Agathe Davis, Elizabeth Green, Gerald, Dollard (Rita) et Laurie, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Outre ses parents; ses soeurs et frères: Jeannine Robichaud, Dorina Boudreau, Lionel, Aurèle et Fred l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901), le lundi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h seulement.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu en l’église Saint-Anselme, Dieppe, le mardi 4 juin 2019, à 11h.
L’inhumation au cimetière paroissial Saint-Anselme à Dieppe.
