St-Antoine, NB – Donald Cormier, 73, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, June 20, 2019.

Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Louis and the late Ida Cormier (born LeBlanc).

Donald was a retired truck driver and a previous co-owner of the Paysan Restaurant.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Gloria; his daughter, Denise Cormier of St-Antoine; his siblings, Diana Donelle (late Normand) of Shediac, Fernande Dodd (Doug) of Ottawa, ON, Dolor Cormier (Ginette) of Montreal, QC, Florence Collette (late Ulysse) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Omer Cormier (Thérèse) of Hamilton, ON, and Thérèse Cormier of Moncton. He also leaves to mourn two grandchildren, Mario and Jonathan; two sisters-in-law, Aline Cormier of Bouctouche and Ella Cormier of Scoudouc; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Ernest, Victor and Ola.

Visitations will be held at the St-Antoine L’Ermite slumber room in St-Antoine on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm and from 5:30pm until time of the funeral at the St-Antoine L’Ermite RC Church at 7:00pm.

In memory of Donald, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to the choice of the donor.
