Scoudouc, NB – Donald Goss, 78, passed away at his residence, on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
Born in St. Stephen, NB, he was the son of the late Hollis and the late Sarah (Maxwell) Goss.
Donald worked at the Dorchester Penitentiary for over 30 years.
He took pride in his children and loved to watch his grandchildren grow. He could often be found outdoors in his garden or sitting on his swing and other times, found napping in the car waiting for Mom.
Donald will be sadly missed by his wife, Shelia; his son, Randy (Thérèse) of Scoudouc; his three daughters, Wendy Robinson (James) of Riverview, Holly Goss (Kevin) of Shediac River and Heather Goss (Scott) of Antigonish, NS; his five grandchildren, Tara, Kayla, Tyler, Cole and Sadie; his great granddaughter, Brooklyn ; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, John and Burton; one sister, Laura. He will be joining his grandson, Kyle William Jones.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, January 18 from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Martin’s-in-the-Woods on Tuesday, January 19 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Friends of the Moncton Hospital or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
