Dora Cormier, 94, of Moncton, passed away on Monday, January 22nd, 2007, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in Pré-d’En-Haut, NB, she was the daughter of the late Francis and the late Lea (née: Melanson) Richard.
Mrs. Cormier was a parishioner of Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C.C.
She is survived by her three daughters: Pauline (Robert) Martin and Muriel (Brian) Beolio, both of Waltham, Mass. and Marie-Alice Cormier (Denise) of Moncton; five sons: Normand (Sophie) of Moncton, Paul (Emerise), Donald (Marilyn), Joseph (Josée), all three of Toronto, ON and Albert (Carol) of Burlington, Mass.; two sisters: Hermine (Raymond) Belliveau of Memramcook and Annie (late Fred) Cormier of Moncton; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren as well as by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gérard. in 1986; one daughter, Jeanette; three sisters: Marguerite(late Blair), Emma(late Warren Jackson) and Marie-Anne(late Isidore Arsenault) and also by two brothers: Zoël(late Evangeline) and Dosithé (late Lucille).
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday January 25th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church,(Vail & Murphy) on Friday, January 26th, 2007 at 11 am.
Interment in St.-Philippe Parish Cemetery, St.-Philippe, NB.
