It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Dot as she was ushered into Heaven on Saturday August 2, 2014 at the age of 85. Born in Moncton, NB, on January 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Zoel and Alice (Caissie) Melanson.
Dot is survived by her partner of many years, Camille Landry; children Omer (Jo-Anne) of Scoudouc, NB, Louise (Yvon) of Bathurst, NB, Mike (Angela) of Albert Mines, NB, and Linda of Saint Antoine, NB; grandchildren Scott (Jacinthe), Dennis (Cindy), Selena (Marc), Tammy (Jason), Karey, Trevor (Line), Amy, Emily, Bethany (Wilco), Jennifer and Roberta and great-grandchildren Cameron, Katrina, Felicity, Annabelle, Rex, Malachi, Madeline, Justus and Jack.
In addition to her parents, Dot was predeceased by her brothers, Alcide and Alderice « Bill » Melanson. Dot was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her memory will carry on in all our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Shediac Bay Community Church, 28 Roy Mollins Drive, Shediac, NB, on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 3PM, with a reception to follow. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
