Doris Maillet
1938 ~ 2018

Shediac, NB – Doris Maillet, 79, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Saint-Thomas-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at The Moncton City Hospital on Friday, January 26, 2018.

She was married to the late Conrad Maillet. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Donat and The late Melina LeBlanc (nee Cormier).

Doris will be sadly missed by her children, Gilles of Saint-Andre-LeBlanc, Charles and Joanne Girouard (Fernand) of Dixon Point and Gail Cleary (Kim) of Burlington, MA; two sisters, Helena Maillet (Antoine) of Saint-Thomas-de-Kent and Marie-Jeanne Topolniski (Max) of Sudbury, ON; one brother, Aubrey of Bouctouche; sisters-in-law, Zella LeBlanc and Jeanne LeBlanc both of Bouctouche and Viola LeBlanc of Cocagne; grandchildren; Ronald, Corey (Vanessa), Jeremy, Marc and Rachel; great grandchildren, Ashlee, Amy and Allison; god-daughter, Linda MacDonald; as well as several nieces & nephews.

Doris was predeceased by her sons Ronald and Roland; hers sisters Exelda Bourque, Anita Poirier, Yvonne Maillet, Aline Roy and Irene Collette; her brothers Aquilla, Clorice, Alonzo, Alcide and Patrick.

As per Doris request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at St. Jean Baptiste RC Church, 19 Irving Blvd, Bouctouche, NB, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00am
