Dwaine was employed by Matrix Logistics for over twenty years. He loved and watched all sports, especially Harness Racing. He was looking forward to going to PEI for the Gold Cup and Saucer, which he attended for the past thirty years.
Besides his parents of Moncton, Dwaine will be sadly missed by his very special friend, Gertie Gallant of Cormier-Village, NB; the loves of his life, his two children, Sarah and Joël both of Moncton, NB; by his three brothers, Darren (Cathy), Kevin (Joanne) and Mark all of Moncton, NB; by his paternal grandfather, Willie Maillet of Saint-Antoine, NB, also sadly missed by Gertie’s son, Tony (Michelle) and their three children, Patrick, Simon and Émilie to whom he was Grampy; his nephews, Tyler and Carson; his niece, Taylor and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Lina Maillet, maternal grandparents, George and Pearl Hudson.
As per Dwaine’s wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home or funeral. A private family graveside service was held at St. Peter Cemetery in South Branch.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter Cemetery Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
