Cocagne – Edith Martin (Surette), 103, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 2nd, 2011 after a short illness.
Born in Cocagne on October 11th, 1907, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Agnès (Breau) Surette.
Edith will be sadly missed by her sister, Imelda Surette of Montreal, QC, also several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Martin; three brothers, Robert, Ernest, René and her sister Anita.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, July 4th from 12:30 until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel on Monday, July 4th at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the St-Pierre de Cocagne RC Cemetery in Cocagne.
