Edward Caissie, 65, of Dieppe, NB passed away on Wednesday, May 7th, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Frederick and the late Marie (née: McCaie) Caissie.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Caissie was employed as a Carman for Via Rail. He will be remembered as a jack-of-all-trades, who would help anyone in need, he also had a passion for fishing.
He is survived his girlfriend, Dorina; two daughters: Jeannette and Bernice; one son, Ronald (Salvatore); three sisters: Della, Muriel and Bertha; one brother, Billy; the mother of his children, Mary; 7 grandchildren: Daniel, Mitchell, Evan, Noah, Alicia, Stacey and Hope, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by six sisters: Rita, Viola, Gloria, Jeannette, Noëlla and Margaret.
A celebration of life and sharing of memories will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday, May 11th, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital « Palliative Care » would be appreciated by the family.
