Dieppe, NB – Edward Melanson, 55, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family and friends, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, after a brief illness.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Edward Melanson and Joyce (Mazerolle) Noël.
Besides his mother, Edward will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Eve-Marie Boudreau of Memramcook and Nicole Melanson of Bouctouche; his grandson, Alexis; his stepdaughter, Savannah Briand of Toronto, On; his brother, Steven Melanson (Catherine) of Moncton; his stepfather, Léo Noël of Moncton; his stepbrother, Léo Noël Jr. of Moncton; the mother of his daughters, Eveline Boudreau of Bouctouche; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and his close friend, Billy Arsenault.
Visitations will be at Passage in Moncton (625 Mountain road), on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:45 am. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Chapel in Moncton (625 Mountain road), on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11 am.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
