Dieppe, NB – Elmire Maillet, 92, from “Auberge du Soleil”, formely of St-Norbert, passed away suddenly at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 17, 2015.

Born in Ste-Anne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arsène and Émilienne (Cormier) Bastarache.

Elmire will be sadly missed by her spouse, Laurie; her daughter, Viola Gaudet (Paul) of Ste-Marie; her five brothers, Laurier (late Stella) of Bellingham, Mass, Ulysse (Sue) of St-Maurice, Sylvio (Andréa), Régis (Irène) both of Bouctouche and Raoul (Marie) of Chéticamp, NS; her two sisters, Rita LeBlanc (late Alban) of Shediac and Andréa Robichaud (late Alfred) of St-Antoine; she was very proud of her three grandchildren, Michel (Lynne) of New Hampshire, Denis of Moncton and Gilles (France) of Greater Lakeburn and her four great grandchildren, Julien, Isabelle, Luc and Maxime; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by five brothers, Noël, Prémélite, Aldéi, Lorenzo and Gérard and one sister, Laudia.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 2 until time of funeral service. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 4 pm. A reception will follow.

Donations to the Cemetery of St-Norbert and Alzheimer Society or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
