Elsie Griffiths, 72 of Dieppe, passed away on Monday, June 25th, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Campbellton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Walter S. and the late Elsie (née: Martin) Shaw.
Elsie and her husband operated Treats Coffee Shops in Moncton and Dieppe for many years.
Elsie will be sadly missed by her husband, Carl; three step daughters: Natalie (Greg) Ferguson and Jocelyn Griffiths both of Barrie, ON and Janice Griffiths of Paris, France; two grandsons: Graham and Cole Ferguson; two sisters: Linda (Wilfred) McMillan of Miramichi and Edna (Bill) Caldwell of Beaver Dam, NB; one brother, George (Ann) Shaw of Port Moody, BC as well as by several nieces and nephews.
By request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Committal service will be celebrated at the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, on Wednesday, July 4th, 2007 at 1:30 pm.
In Elsie’s memory, donations to the Moncton Hospital Foundation “Oncology Unit” or memorial of choice would be appreciated.
