Saint-Louis-de-Kent, NB – In loving sadness, the family of Émile Gallant, 81, wants to announce his peaceful passing at the Villa Maria in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
Born in Saint-Ignace, NB, he was the son of the late Felix Gallant and the late Exilda (Richard) Gallant.
Émile worked hard as a Hardwood Flooring installer, and Carpenter. He also enjoyed bicycle riding, and playing cards. Émile was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Émile will be sadly missed by his wife, Madeleine; his children, Ricky (Jill), Janice (André), Joanne and Robert (Caroline); his four brothers, Aldéric (Camilla), Eusèbe, Delphin (Roberte) and Maurice (Simonne); his six sisters, Yolande (Camille), Madeleine (late Euclide), Sylvia (Sterling), Jeannette (Normand), Juliette, and Rosa; his three grandchildren, Alain, Mélanie and Kevin; his two great grandchildren, Miguel and Janelle; brother-in-law, Gerald, sister-in-law, Julia, several nieces and nephews, also by the Caissie family.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one baby brother, Alban; his other brother, Paul and his two sisters, Antoinette and Idora, also his brother-in-law, Adrien.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home (148 Saint-Ignace Road, Saint-Louis-de-Kent), on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 9 am to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be held at Saint-Ignace of Loyala RC Church in Saint-Ignace, on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11 am.
