Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Edouard and the late Alma LeBlanc (born Cormier).
Emile will be missed by his loving wife, Rogette LeBlanc; his three daughters, Charline Poirier (Michel) of Shediac, Lise Goguen (Daniel) of Moncton and Nicole LeBlanc (Brian McGrath) of Cocagne; his five grandchildren, Mylène, Camille, Amélie, Danika and Isabelle; his three brothers, Ulysse (Doris) of Florida, Gérald (Maria) of Moncton and Léo (Gilberte) of Stoughton, MA; his sister, Hectorine Cormier (Emile) of St-Anselme; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Irénée and two sisters, Viola and Odila.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Sunday, September 29, 2019, from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm. Please note that there will be no visitation on Monday morning. Funeral Service will be held at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church in Bouctouche, on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 11am.
The family would like to thank, from the bottom of their hearts, the Stella-Maris-de-Kent staff, including the emergency and the in-patient personnel; Charlotte and Edith from the Cardiology department at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre; Dr. Cormier, Dr. Fontaine and Dr. Sirois; also the personnel of the Foyer Pauline nursing home, for all the good care and support provided to the family and to Emile during his hardest moments.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
