Cocagne, NB – Emile LeBlanc, 74, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, after a long illness.
Born in Margaree, NS on December 1, 1937, he was the son of the late Phileas and Emma (Cormier) LeBlanc.
Emile will be sadly missed by his long time companion, Roseline Roy; his son, Gérard LeBlanc of Framingham, Mass; his daughter, Emilia Leeland (Lee) of Bellingham, Mass; his stepson, Donald Dallaire (Mellisa) of Holly Springs, NC; his stepdaughter, Diane LeBlanc (Rhéal) of St-Antoine, NB; two brothers, Simon LeBlanc (Anne) of Margaree, NS, Greg LeBlanc (Theresa) of Port Hood, NS; two sisters, Marie Blanche Romard (Emmanuel) and Yvonne LeBlanc, both of Cheticamp, NS; three grandchildren, Amanda, Brandy and Brandon; four step grandchildren, Jenna (Brian), Adam, Réjean and Chantal; one great step grandson, Jackson; also by several nieces and nephews.
Emile was predeceased by one son, Jules.
In respect to Emile’s wishes, there will be no visitations.
Funeral service will be held at the Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, November 16 at 7 pm.
