Emile Pellerin, 85, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Thursday, March 7th, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in Sunny Brae, NB, he was the son of the late Leo and the late Ida (née: LeBlanc) Pellerin.
Mr. Pellerin had retired from CN, was a ham radio operator and a member of Ste-Thérèse parish.
He is survived by his wife, Rina (née: Leger); three sisters: Leola (William) Gaudet of Cornwall, PEI, Alva (Don) Haddad-LeBlanc of Moncton and Majella (Alyre) Arseneault of Dieppe; one brother, Irois "Roy" of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews, with a special mention going to niece, Paulette (George) Perry of Dartmouth, NS.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Gloria.
No visitation will be held at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Saturday, March 9th, 2013 at 10: 30 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Au Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le jeudi 7 mars 2013, à l’âge de 85 ans, est décédé Emile Pellerin. Il demeurait à Dieppe, N.-B.
Né à Sunny Brae, N.-B., il était fils de feu Leo et de feu Ida (née LeBlanc) Pellerin.
Avant sa retraite, M. Pellerin travaillait au CN. Il était un opérateur de radioamateur et membre de la paroisse Ste-Thérèse.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Rina (née Leger); trois soeurs: Leola (William) Gaudet de Cornwall, I.-P.-E., Alva (Don) Haddad-LeBlanc de Moncton et Majella (Alyre) Arseneault de Dieppe; un frère, Irois “Roy” de Moncton, plusieurs neveux et nièces, une mention spéciale a sa nièce, Paulette (George) Perry de Dartmouth, N.-E.
Outre ses parents, une soeur, Gloria l’a précédé dans la tombe.
Aucune visite aura lieu au salon.
Les funérailles auront lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B. (857-1901), le samedi 9 mars 2013 à 10h 30.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Dieppe.
