Born in Saint-Charles-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Madie Robichaud (nee Daigle).
Emma will be sadly missed by her seven daughters, Linda Pettipas (Alvin) of Cap-Lumière NB, Gloria Guillemette (Jocelyn) of Saint-Charles-de-Kent, NB, Cécile Vautour (Roger) of Saint-Louis, NB, Diane Comeau (late Charles LeBlanc) of Moncton, NB, Yvette Comeau of Airdrie, AB, Mariette Vautour (Vincent) of Saint-Ignace, NB and Lilianne Larin (Marc) of Saint-Charles-de-Ken, NB; by her six sons, Armand (Linda) of Dixon-Point, NB, Daniel (Alma) of Richibucto, NB, Claude of Fredericton, NB, Philippe (Stephanie) of East Branch, NB, Pierre of Saint-Charles-de-Kent, NB and Jean-François (Ghislaine) of Shediac, NB; by her three sisters, Bella (late Theodore) Richard of Moncton, NB, Jeanne (Ron) Gould of Dieppe, NB and Marie-Reine (late Rhéal) Gaudet of Dieppe, NB; by her twenty grandchildren, by her twelve great grandchildren; also by several nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Armand Comeau; by her two sisters, Laura Mountain and Maria Barrieau; by seven brothers, Alyre, Albert, Hubert, Gérard, Fidèle, Léo and Édouard and by her great granddaughter, Danika Richard.
The family would love to thanks the staff of the palliative care unit at the Stella-Maris-De-Kent Hospital for the wonderful care Emma received. We would also like to thank Father Michel Mercier for his presence at the hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Pierre LeBlanc for the wonderful care and the home visits.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, 33 Acadie Street, Richibucto (506) 523-4252, on Monday, January 15th, 2018 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. There will be no visitation on Tuesday morning. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Charles-Borromée RC Church, 1225 Saint-Charles South Road, Saint-Charles-de-Kent, NB on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 at 11:00am.
Donations to Les Ami.e.s de l’Hôpital Stella-Maris-de-Kent foundation would be appreciated by the family.
