Emma LeBlanc, 90, of Moncton and formerly of Dieppe passed away on Tuesday, April 26th 2011, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Caroline (née: Allain) LeBlanc.
Mrs. LeBlanc was a member of Ste-Thérèse Parish.
She is survived by her daughter, Irma (Fernand) Gagnon of Moncton; two grandchildren: Sebastien (Brigitte) and Natalie as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Evariste in 1980; one son, Raymond; five sisters: Alice, Anna, Lydia, Marie and Sophie and also by one brother, Leo.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 10 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Saturday, April 30th, 2011, at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation « Cardiology or Palliative Care » would be appreciated by the family.
À l’Hôpital Universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le mardi 26 avril, 2011, à l’âge de 90 ans, est décédée Emma LeBlanc. Elle demeurait à Moncton, autrefois de Dieppe, N.-B.
Née à Bouctouche, N.-B., elle était fille de feu William et de feu Caroline (née: Allain) LeBlanc.
Mme LeBlanc était membre de la paroisse Ste-Thérèse.
Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille, Irma (Fernand) Gagnon de Moncton; deux petits-enfants: Sebastien (Brigitte) et Natalie ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son époux, Evariste en 1980; un fils, Raymond cinq soeurs: Alice, Anna, Lydia, Marie et Sophie ainsi qu’un frère, Leo l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le vendredi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h ainsi que le samedi de 10h jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Ste-Thérèse, Dieppe, N.-B., le samedi 30 avril, 2011, à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Dieppe, N.-B.
Un don à la Fondation de l’hôpital Dr-Georges-L-Dumont “Cardiologie ou Soins Palliatif” serait apprecié par la famille.
