St-Maurice-de-Kent, NB – Emma McNeil, passed away peacefully on February 25th, on her 92nd birthday, after a brief illness.
Born in St-Maurice, NB, she was the daughter of the late Zoël and Suzanne Bastarache.
Emma will be sadly missed by her four sons, Omer (Suzanne) of Ottawa, Alfred and Rhéal (Janet) both of St-Maurice-de-Kent, Achille (Piedade) of Milford Mass; her six daughters, Gloria (Antoine Melanson) of Bouctouche, Maria (Donat Bourgeois) of Cocagne, Alice (Ron Krack) of San Diego, USA, Dianne (Ron McCaskill) of Moncton, Claudette (Serge Maillet) of St-Antoine and Joanne (Michael Ashe) of San Diego, USA; her brother Osias of Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA; her sister Bella (late Donat Landry) of Bouctouche; also by several grandchildred and great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Thomas (2009); her two sons, Eugère and Adélard.
Visitations will be held at Sainte-Anne-de-Kent slumber room on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 9 am until time of funeral service at Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church at 11 am.
