Moncton, NB – Eric Bourque, 83, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, October 10, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Grande-Digue , NB, he was the son of the late Onésime and Zélia (LeBlanc) Bourque.
Eric will be sadly missed by his wife, Claudette; his three sons, Irénée (Gisèle), Irois (Gérène) and Serge all of Dieppe; his five daughters, Pauline Cormier (Raymond) of Dieppe, Thérèse Richard (Ronald) of Notre-Dame, Jeanne Martin (Léandre) of Shediac, Joanne Richard (Valmond) and Charline Seely (Kevin) both of Dieppe; his four brothers, Gerard, Nérie (Florence) both of Grande-Digue, Émile (Louise) of St-Anselme and Alyre (Annette) of Grande-Digue; his sister, Thérèse Léger (Edmond) of Grande-Digue; his sixteen grandchildren; his ten great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Désiré.
In respect to Eric’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 11 am. Reception to follow.
Donations to the Chudumont Foundation, NB Lung Association or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Suzanne Doyon, the extra-mural who took care of Eric for the past year. Also Thank you to the Residence Moncton for making Eric’s life easier and better for the last few months.
