Cocagne, NB – Erice Goguen, 54, passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Gérard and the late Emilia (Robichaud) Goguen.
Erice will be sadly missed by his son, Patrick Daigle (Mavic) of Richibouctou; his four brothers, Ronald (Irène), Maurice (late Yvette), Arice (his twin), all of Cocagne and Régis of Val Cartier, QC; his five sisters, Florida Mazerolle (late Jean-Paul) – (also his Godmother) of Montreal, QC, Stella Allain (Livail) of Bouctouche, Aline Thébeau (Robert) of St-Antoine, Dianne Surette and Jeanne Allain (Carole), both of Cocagne; his two grandchildren, Martica and Jonathan; his Godfather, Emery Allain (Opeline) of Cocagne; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, Francis (1966), Daniel (1972), Regis (1975) and Emerie (1978); two infant brothers, Réginald and Aldéi.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, October 10, from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, October 11, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be held at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne Roman Catholic Church in Cocagne, on Saturday, October 11, at 11 am. A reception will follow at the Club-du-Village in Cocagne.
A donation to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
