Shediac – Ernest Gallant, 89, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 5th, 2011 after a brief illness.
Born in Rogersville on September 25th, 1922, he was the son of late Adorice and Yvonne (Poirier) Gallant.
Ernest will be sadly missed by his wife, Hélèna (Boucher) Gallant; his daughter, Géraldine Gallant (Donald) of Grande-Digue; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Gérard and Joseph; two sisters, Ernestine and Albertine.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, November 9th from 9:30 until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 9th at 11:30 am. Interment in Passage Columbarium.
In lieu of flowers, donations to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
