Shediac, NB – Ernest Goguen, 95, formerly of Cocagne, passed away suddenly at “Le Bons Soins” in Shediac, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, January 23rd, 2015.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Fred and the late Julienne (Cormier) Goguen.
Ernest will be sadly missed by his son, Claude Goguen of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA; his four stepchildren, Murielle LeBlanc-Sutherland (Lloyd) of Fredericton, Terry LeBlanc (Sharon Johnson) of Moncton, Jules LeBlanc (Bev) of Whitehorse, Yukon and Maria LeBlanc (Bernard) of Saint-Antoine; his nine grandchildren and his eleven grand-grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Alphonsine Dionne; his second wife, Louise Melanson; his daughter, Charline; his brothers, Robert, Félix; his sisters, Alfreda, Flora, Géraldine and Jeanne.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 1 pm until time of service. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, Shediac-Bridge on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 2 pm. Burial will take place this spring at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Cemetery in Cocagne.
