Moncton, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Eugene Francis Sullivan, 70, on May 10, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital with his children by his side.
Born in Woodstock, NB, he was the son of the late Matthew and Ada (Sweeney) Sullivan.
Gene worked at Sears for 42 years as a Service Technician. He earned his black belt in karate and was passionate about teaching others. Gene also enjoyed playing guitar, doing magic tricks and playing softball.
Gene is survived by his children, Sara Sullivan of Halifax, NS and Matthew Sullivan (Nathalie Deveau) of Moncton.
Respecting Gene’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
Donations to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
