Shediac, NB (formerly from Cocagne) – Euloge (Joe) Lavoie, 78, passed away at the Villa Providence in Shediac on Thursday, December 13, 2018.
Born in Rivière-Ouelle, QC, he was the son of the late Augustin and the late Marie-Rose Lavoie (nee Levesque).
He was in the Canadian Armed Forces (aviation) for 20 years. He was also a commissioner at the Federal Public Service Pension “DSS” in Shediac for 8 years and at Fisheries and Oceans in Moncton for 13 years.
Euloge will be sadly missed by his son, Mario (Stéphanie) of Shediac; his daughter, Michèle (Mario) of Cocagne; his sister, Thérèse (Jacques) of Montmagny, QC; his four grandchildren, Cassandra (Rémi), Jean-Yves, Sébastien and Samuel; his two great grandson, Dominic and Alec; and his two sisters-in-law, Charline and Marie-Ange.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, René (Jacqueline), Florent (Cécile), Louis and Rodrigue; one sister, Françoise (Denis).
As per Euloge’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
