Edgar “Fabby” Hebert, 87, formerly of Olivier Street, Dieppe, passed away on Friday, September 14th, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Fabien and the late Amanda (née: LeBlanc) Hebert.
Fabby in his younger years enjoyed stock car driving and was an avid hunter and guide, he was a long standing loyal fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, enjoyed his daily outings at Champlain Place and was a parishioner of Ste.-Thérèse R.C.C.
He is survived by his wife, Flossie (née: Corey); one daughter, Kim (Paul Breau) of Dieppe; one son, Carl (Marg Arsenault) of Quebec City; one sister, Yolande “Pee” (Louis) Bourque of Caissie Cape; one brother, Omer “Memer” (Patricia) of Moncton; 3 grandchildren: Kristine, Brian and Christopher as well as by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters: Alma “Mima” and Stella and also by two brothers: Henri and Alfred “Teddy”
Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB 857-1901, on Monday September 17th, 2007, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital ”Oncology Unit” would be appreciated by the family.
