Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Ivan Arsenault and Thérèse Arsenault (née Goguen) of Moncton.
Fernand enjoyed spending time with his family; he also enjoyed music and loved Nature. He will be remembered for his gentleness and kindness towards others.
Besides his mother, Thérèse, Fernand is survived by his four sisters, Jeannette Saucier (Roger) of Riverview, Caroline Donnahee (Charles) of Irishtown, Annette LeBlanc (Gerry) of Moncton & Anita Cormier (Teddy) of Moncton; his two brothers, Maurice (Linda) of Haute-Aboujagne & Roméo (Helena) of Saint-Antoine; he is also survived by several aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces & nephews.
Besides his father, Fernand was predeceased by his brother, Ronald.
Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation will be held at the Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, corner West Lane, Moncton on Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 from 9:30am till 10:30am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dames-de-Grâce RC Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
