Moncton, NB – Fidèle Gallant, 76, passed away peacefully at Villa du Repos in Moncton, on Wednesday, February 1st, 2017, after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family.

Born in St-Philippe, NB, he was the son of the late Walter and late Zélia (Caissie) Gallant.

Besides his parents, Fidèle is survived by his two sons; Ronald and David, both of St-Philippe; his stepson, Gaston (Tina) of St-Philippe; his daughter, Thérèse (Mike) MacKay of Grande-Digue; his step daughter, Christine (Mark) Méthot of Grand-Barachois; his seven brothers, Paul (Rita) of St-Philippe, Gerard (Jeannine) of St-Philippe, Francis (Jeanita) of MacDougall, Antoine (Rita) of St-Philippe, Aimé of Moncton, Edgar (Diane) of St-Philippe and Raymond (Lilianne) Gallant of MacDougall; his three sisters, Rita (Albenie), Marguerite (Camille) both of St-Philippe and Florine (Tom) of Caissie-Cape; his two grandchildren, Jonathan and Julia; his five step grandchildren; Emilie, Sophie, Isaac, Miguel and Milika; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Clorice.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 9:30 until time of funeral service at Passage Funeral Chapel at 11 am.
