Moncton, NB – Francis Cormier, 76, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, after a lengthy illness.
Born in St-Paul, NB, he was the son of the late Claude and the late Emiliene (Breau) Cormier.
Francis was a carpenter by trade.
Francis will be sadly missed by his partner, Laura Goguen; his daughter, Pauline of USA; his two grandchildren, Francis and Travis; his two sisters, Anna Savoie and Jeanne Nowlan both of Dieppe; his three brothers, Aurèl (Jeanitta) of Dieppe, Gérald (Noëlla) and Laurie (Lise) both of St-Paul; his uncle, Emile (Hectorine) of Moncton; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased his sister, Olivine and his brother, Pierre.
Visitations will be at the St-Paul-de-Kent RC Church slumber room on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 5 to 6:45 pm. Funeral service will be held at the St-Paul-de-Kent RC Church in St-Paul-de-Kent on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 7 pm.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, the Chu Dumont Foundation or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
