Francis LeBlanc, 90, of 500 Elmwood Dr., Moncton, formerly of Lewisville, passed away on Tuesday, March 13th, 2007, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Vitale and the late Marie (née: Melanson) LeBlanc.
He had retired from CN after 35 years of service, he was a member of the Union for the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen and a parishioner of Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rita (née: Allain); five daughters: May (Edouard) Boudreau and Lorette (Doug) Brooks both of Moncton, Claudette (Roger) Boudreau of Scoudouc, Francine (Jean-Guy) Dulong of Dieppe and Denise (Michel LeBlanc) of Memramcook; two sons: Paul (Lorraine) of Shediac River and Fernand (Jeannette) of Dieppe; 8 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by five sisters: Laudia, Emerise, Eleanor, Euphemie and Alzelie and also by three brothers: Lionel, Henrie and Philorome.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Wednesday, March 14th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from noon until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, on Thursday, March 15th, 2007 at 1 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
