Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph D. and the late Ethel Bourgeois (Trevors).
Fred and Helen owned Maritime Custom, a motorcycle and Bombardier dealership for 26 years until they retired in 2002.
Fred leaves to mourn his partner and soul mate of forty two years, Helen Elliott of Pointe-du-Chêne; his sister, Marjorie Babineau (Victor) of Dieppe; his son, Kim Bourgeois (Verna) of St. John’s, NL; by his two daughters, Kathy Bourgeois (Moe) of Moncton and Kristy Bourgeois of Halifax, NS; by his step-son, William Elliott (Beth) of St. Albert, AB; by his daughter-in-law, Susan Bourgeois of Labrador City, NL; and his six grandchildren, Jennifer, Sarah, Michael, Jamie, Liam and Karen; and by his great-grandchild, Taylor Grace; also by two nieces and several cousins.
Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by his infant brother Michael.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 9:00am to 10:00am. Funeral service at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10:00 am.
For the past four months, he had the angels at the Villa Providence take care of him.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Association would be appreciated by the family.
