George LeBlanc, 66, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, January 19th 2010, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Memramcook “Au Lac”, NB, he was the son of Aurèle and the late Dora (née: Boudreau) LeBlanc.
Mr. LeBlanc was best known for being a musician and hosting George’s Country Jamboree.
Besides his father, Aurèle of Memramcook, he is survived by his wife, Nora Delaney; one brother, Bob (Bertha Arseneau) of Dieppe; one niece, Nadine; one nephew, Stefan; one uncle, Valérie (Jeannine) Boudreau of Dieppe; two aunts: Marguerite (late Léo) Richard of Moncton and Antoinette (Eric) Redmond of Shediac and also by several cousins and friends.
Besides his mother, he was also pre-deceased by two brothers: Guy and Paul.
Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901), on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral service will be celebrated from Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Monday, January 25th 2010, at 11 am.
Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB.
Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation “ Oncology Unit ” would be appreciated by the family.

Né au Lac de Memramcook, N.B., il était fils de Aurèle et de feu Dora (née: Boudreau) LeBlanc.
M. LeBlanc était connu comme musicien et hôte de “George’s Country Jamboree”.
Outre son père, Aurèle de Memramcook, il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Nora Delaney; un frère, Bob (Bertha Arseneau) de Dieppe; une nièce, Nadine; un neveu, Stefan; un oncle, Valérie (Jeannine) Boudreau de Dieppe; deux tantes: Marguerite (feu Léo) Richard de Moncton et Antoinette (Eric) Redmond de Shediac ainsi que plusieurs cousins, cousines et ami(e)s.
Outre sa mère, deux frères: Guy et Paul l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le dimanche de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Ste-Thérèse, Dieppe, N.-B., le lundi 25 janvier, 2010 à 11h.
