Moncton, NB – George Peabody, 88, passed away peacefully at the City Hospital in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
Born in Fredericton, NB on October 1, 1925, he was the son of the late Frank Matthew and late Violet Mae (McKinley) Peabody.
George will be sadly missed by his wife, Joan Barbara (Crawford) Peabody; his two sons, Stephen Dale Peabody (Yvonne) of Victoria, BC, Craig Lee Peabody of Ottawa, ON; his sister, Dorothy Clark (George) of Fredericton, NB; his sister-in-law, Anne Peabody of Delta, BC; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Gerald.
In respect to George’s wishes, there will be no visitations and no funeral service.
