Gerald F. LeBlanc, 89, of Greater Lakeburn, NB, passed away on Saturday, February 15th, 2014, at the Villa Providence in Shediac.
Born in Lewisville, NB, he was the son of the late Francis and the late Emilia (née: Bastarache) LeBlanc.
Mr. LeBlanc was an avid bowler and gardener and also volunteered with several charitable organizations. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 6796 Dieppe and a parishioner of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by two daughters: Rosemarie Pellerin of Dieppe and Murielle (David) Langille of Toronto, ON; three grandchildren: Nicole (Rejean) Gautreau of Dieppe, Craig (Katie) Langille of Whitby, ON and Monique (Ryan) Trainor of Bowmanville, ON; four great-grandchildren: Kailyn, Chloe, Christian and Philip; one sister, Anita Pellerin of Dieppe; three brothers: Norman (Doris) of Moncton, Regis (Yvonne) of Dieppe and Yvon (Aurea) of Greater Lakeburn; one sister-in-law, Elda of Dieppe, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Therese (née: Hebert) in 2010; one son, Armand, one daughter, Linda; one grandson, Serge; two sisters: Jeannine and Gloria and also by three brothers: Eric, Albert and Yvon.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Monday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church (Lakeburn) on Tuesday, February 18th, 2014 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Villa Providence Foundation, Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Né à Lewisville, N.-B., il était fils de feu Francis et de feu Emilia (née Bastarache) LeBlanc.
M. LeBlanc aimait jardiner, jouer aux quilles et aussi faire du bénévolat dans des organisations de bienfaisance. Il était membre des Chevaliers de Colomb, conseil 6796, Dieppe et de la paroisse Notre-Dame-de-Lorette.
Il laisse dans le deuil deux filles: Rosemarie Pellerin de Dieppe et Murielle (David) Langille de Toronto, ON; trois petits-enfants: Nicole (Rejean) Gautreau de Dieppe, Craig (Katie) Langille de Whitby, ON et Monique (Ryan) Trainor de Bowmanville, ON; quatre arrière petits-enfants: Kailyn, Chloe, Christian et Philip; une soeur, Anita Pellerin de Dieppe; trois frères: Norman (Doris) de Moncton, Regis (Yvonne) de Dieppe et Yvon (Aurea) de Greater Lakeburn; une belle-soeur, Elda de Dieppe, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son épouse, Therese (née Hebert) en 2010; un fils, Armand, une fille, Linda; un petit-fils, Serge; deux soeurs: Jeannine et Gloria ainsi que trois frères: Eric, Albert et Yvon l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le lundi de 19h à 21h ainsi que le mardi de 10h jusqu’à l’heure du départ pour les funérailles.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lorette (Lakeburn), le mardi 18 février 2014 à 11h.

Un don à la Fondation Providence, la Société Alzheimer ou à la fondation des maladies du cœur serait apprécié par la famille.
