Bouctouche, NB (formerly of St-Antoine) – Gérald LeBlanc, 74, passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, after a short illness.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Georges and Marguerite (Bastarache) LeBlanc.
Gérald will be sadly missed by his four children, Jean-Louis (Louisa), Charles, Anita Cormier (Emerie Jr.), Géralda LeBlanc (Paul) all of Cocagne ; the mother of his children, Florine; his five sisters, Rose-Marie Saulnier (late Alphée), Huberte Boucher (late Robert) both of Ste-Marie, Antoinette Allain (Jos) of Cocagne, Yolande Bastarache (Yvon Poirier) and Dianne LeBlanc (Jean) both of Bouctouche; his three brothers, Eroi (Daphne) of St-Antoine, Ulysse and Valmond (Carmen) both of Bouctouche; his seven grandchildren, Julie, Josée, Tina, Nadia, Isabelle, Mélanie and Philippe; his three step-children, Jason, Tammy and Tina; also by several nieces, nephews including his special nephew, George.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Helen; his step-daughter, Linda; his sister, Ella; two brothers, Louis and Yvon; two other siblings at a young age.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 10 am until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel at 12 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Society (NB) or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
