Gerald Richard, 90, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, September 12th, 2014, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Amédée and the late Marie-Blanche (née: Hebert) Richard.
He was a carpenter by trade.
He is survived by his wife, Lina (née: Gosselin); three daughters: Gloria (Larry) Lemieux of Dorchester, Yvonne (Arthur) Auffrey of Moncton and Roberte (Camille) Caissie of Dieppe; four sons: Guy of Montreal, QC, Maurice of Shediac, Eugene (Lina) and Jean (Claudette), both of Dieppe; one daughter-in-law, Louise of Dieppe; 12 grandchildren: Ernest, Charlotte, Bertin, Rejean, Denis, Luc, Marie-Anne, Marc, Chantal, Gaétan, Mélanie and Christian; 11 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sons: Robert and Yvon; five sisters: Emilia, Adele, Emma, Sara and Florida; two brothers: Pierre and Joe and also by one grandson, Jean-Luc.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church, (Lakeburn) on Tuesday, September 16th, 2014 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

Au Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le vendredi 12 septembre 2014, à l’âge de 90 ans, est décédé Gerald Richard. Il demeurait à Dieppe, N.-B.
Né à Moncton, N.-B., il était fils de feu Amédée et de feu Marie-Blanche (née Hebert) Richard.
M. Richard avait travaillé comme charpentier.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Lina (née: Gosselin); trois filles: Gloria (Larry) Lemieux de Dorchester, Yvonne (Arthur) Auffrey de Moncton et Roberte (Camille) Caissie de Dieppe; quatre fils: Guy de Montreal, QC, Maurice de Shediac, Eugene (Lina) et Jean (Claudette), tous deux de Dieppe; une bru, Louise de Dieppe; 12 petits-enfants: Ernest, Charlotte, Bertin, Rejean, Denis, Luc, Marie-Anne, Marc, Chantal, Gaétan, Mélanie et Christian; 11 arrière petits-enfants, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Deux fils: Robert et Yvon; cinq soeurs: Emilia, Adele, Emma, Sara et Florida; deux frères: Pierre et Joe, ainsi qu’un petits-fils, Jean-Luc, l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B. (857-1901) le lundi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h SEULMENT.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, (Lakeburn), le mardi 16 septembre, 2014, à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au Cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire à Dieppe, N.-B.
Un don à la Société canadienne du cancer serait apprécié par la famille.
