St-Philippe, NB – Gérard Gallant, 73, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, December 22, 2017

Born in St. Philippe, NB, he was the son of the late Walter and Zélia Gallant (nee Caissie).

Gérard will be sadly missed by hi wife Jeannine of St. Philippe; by his son, Normand of St Philippe, NB; by his three sisters, Rita Caissie (Albénie) of Shediac, Marguerite Lirette (Camille) of St. Philippe and Florine MacDougall (Tom) of Grande-Digue; by his six brothers, Paul (Rita) of St. Philippe, Francis (Jeannita) of Scotch Settlement, Antoine (Rita) St. Philippe, Aimée of Grande-Digue, Edgar (Diane) of St. Philippe and Raymond (Liliane) of Scotch Settlement; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Clorice and Fidèle.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 1:00pm until time of funeral service at 4:00pm which will be held from Passage Funeral Co-operative Chapel.

Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology Department) would be appreciated by the family.
