Moncton – Gloria Doiron, 59, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, October 30 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Moncton, NB, she is the daughter of Gérard and Germaine (née Allain) Desprès of Moncton. Gloria enjoyed music; she was an accomplished pianist and guitarist. She loved spending time on the beaches in Florida and appreciated and enjoyed fine cuisine.

Besides hers parents, Gloria is survived by her husband, Guy Doiron of Waltham, Mass.; her daughter, Danielle Cormier (John Ferrick) of Belmont, Mass.; hers sister, Gisèle Desprès of Shenstone, NB; her nephews, Patrick, Michel & Thomas.

In keeping with Gloria wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held from Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 at 10:30 am with Father Jean-Guy Dallaire officiating. Burial at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

Donations to the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital Foundation (Oncology Department) would be appreciated by the family.
