Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Hedley and the late Beulah (Melvin) Steeves.
Prior to retirement, he was a welder with the NB Department of Transportation. Hedley enjoyed the outdoors, took great pride of his “Galaxy 500” and was well known for his 1994 Chevy truck and 35-year-old lawn mower tractor.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary “Betty” (Tibbo); his children: Ann (late Ken), Robert (Karen) and Tanya “Toni” Firlotte; his grandchildren: Tanisha, Ryan, Tarah and Brianna; his great grandson, Ryan Joseph “R.J.”; his sister, Paula Kelly, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In respect of the family’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service.
