Dieppe – Henriette Bourque, 92, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 14th, after a brief illness.
Born in Scoudouc, on August 27, 1918, living in Quebec eight years ago for almost sixty years, before going back in New-Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Lucien and Elizabeth (Babin) Bourque.
Henriette has worked for the Federal Governmentin Val Cartier, Quebec. She was a volunteer in her community also in her parish, in Quebec. She was a model for her family, always devoted and happy. You’ll be missed Henriette.
Henriette will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Suzanne Pelletier and Claire Pelletier both of Québec; her two brothers, Edgar (late Hélèle) of Moncton, Ola (Estelle) Bourque of Dieppe; also one brother in law, Yvon Bourgeois; her five sisters, Jeanette Rancourt (late Gaston) of Montreal, Edith Nowlan (late Emery) of Edmonton, Alberta, Alice Cormier (late Roméo) of Shediac, Hélène Melanson (Laurie) of Scoudouc, Rolande Gallant (Roger) of Grande-Digue; her great grandchildren, Véronique; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Gustave Pelletier and her second husband Luger d’Amour; her son, Gilles; her two sisters, Lorraine and Georgia.
In respect to Henriette’s wishes there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at the St-Jacques-le-Majeur RC Church in Scoudouc on Monday, July 18th at 3 pm, followed by a reception at the Club d’Âge d’Or. Interment will be at a later date in Quebec.
