Shediac, NB – Henry LeBlanc, 86, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, on Saturday, May 10, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB on November 2, 1927, he was the son of the late Henri D. and the late Célina (Caissie) LeBlanc.
Henry, our brother and uncle, spent most of his adult life in Ontario and moved to Villa Providence in 2009. He was a real handyman who enjoyed the country life of gardening, fishing and hunting.
He will be sadly missed by his four sisters, Sr Évangéline LeBlanc of Dieppe, Mina Arsenault (late Alphérie) of Cocagne, Sophie Beardsmore (late Melvin) of Moncton and Diana Gauvin (late Ulysse) of Dieppe; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his common-law spouse, Eva Léger (2013); two brothers, Normand (2007) and Albert (1975); one sister, Gloria (1934).
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 2 pm until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 4 pm.
