Hervé J. Leger, 69, of Notre-Dame, passed away on Tuesday, May 15th, 2007 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in St.-Antoine, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Lorette (née: Surette) Leger.
Mr. Leger had retired from Kent Homes and had previously been the church custodian at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church in Notre-Dame.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (née: Leger); one daughter, Lise (Gilles) Caissie of Notre-Dame; two sons: Jeannot (Nicole) of Cocagne and Mario (Liette) of Notre-Dame; one sister, Jeanne (André Caissie) of St-Antoine; one brother-in-law, Donald Boudreau of St.-Antoine; six grandchildren: Corey, Corinne, Josée, Christopher, Janelle and Danica as well as by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parent, he was predeceased by one daughter, baby Marie and by one sister, Annette.
Visitation will be held from the Notre-Dame Parish Funeral Salon, on Friday, May 18th, 2007, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7pm to 9pm and also on Saturday from 10 am until time of service.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame de Kent, on Saturday, May 19th, 2007, at 11: 15 a m.
Interment in Parish Cemetery, Notre-Dame de Kent, NB.
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care or Oncology) would be appreciated by the family.
