It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hubert Thibodeau, 78, on November 6, 2020, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born in Robichaud Office, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Napoleon and late Philonise (LeBlanc) Thibodeau.
He is survived by his wife, Carmel (née: Melanson) Thibodeau; his daughter, Monette (Jacques) Allard of Moncton; his two sons: Michel (Francine) of Memramcook and Mathieu (Michaela Vipler) of Richmond, BC; his sister, Claudette (late Donald) LeBlanc of Shediac River; his three brothers: Valerie (late Kay) of Riverview, Donald (Catherine) of Cocagne and Albert (late Glenda) of Grand-Barachois; his three grandchildren: Annie, Joel, and Madealyne; and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by one sister, Donalda Hubert; and two brothers: Claude and Valmond.
As per the wishes of Hubert, there will be no visitation or funeral mass.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

C’est le cœur lourd que nous annonçons le décès d’Hubert Thibodeau, 78 ans, le 6 novembre 2020, au Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont. Né à Robichaud Office, Nouveau-Brunswick, il était le fils de feu Napoléon et de feu Philonise (LeBlanc) Thibodeau.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Carmel (née: Melanson) Thibodeau; sa fille, Monette (Jacques) Allard de Moncton; ses deux fils: Michel (Francine) de Memramcook et Mathieu (Michaela Vipler) de Richmond, C.-B.; sa sœur, Claudette (feu Donald) LeBlanc de Shediac River; ses trois frères: Valérie (feu Kay) de Riverview, Donald (Catherine) de Cocagne et Albert (feu Glenda) de Grand-Barachois; ses trois petits-enfants: Annie, Joel et Madealyne; et plusieurs nièces et neveux.
Il est prédécédé par une soeur, Donalda Hubert; et deux frères: Claude et V Valmond.
Selon les souhaits d’Hubert, il n’y aura pas de visites ni de funérailles.
Un don à la Fondation des maladies du cœur serait apprécié par la famille.
