Moncton, NB – Ida Leger, 65, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, August 28, 2014, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Aurèle and Eva (Daigle) Saulnier.

Ida will be sadly missed by her mother; her daughter, Renée McLeod (Craig) of Moncton; her son, Jason Leger (Gena) of Riverview; her brother, Roger (Ginette) of Dieppe; her sister, Sandra Saulnier of Grande-Digue; her two grandchildren, Brendan and Meghan; also by several aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald (2008); one infant brother, George (1949).

In respect to Ida’s wishes, there will be no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Shediac on Tuesday, September 2 at 11 am.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
